Requests for Donations
WELCOME TO THE LOCAL’S COMMUNITY DONATION AND SPONSORSHIP REQUEST PAGE.
If you are interested in submitting a request for a donation, sponsorship or need volunteers for your organization, please submit your request through the query below. Due to the large volume of inquiries, all requests must be submitted at least 6 weeks prior to your deadline.
Please note that while we wish to support all requests, it is not always possible. Each year we allocate a budget to support community activities, however requests often exceed our annual budget. In order to fairly distribute our support, we ask that you submit your request using the form below. Preference will be given towards organizations supporting community development and local events. We also cannot promote political causes, scholarships, campaigns or candidate endorsements. Please note, it is illegal in Michigan for us to donate or give away alcohol.
We do not accept requests in person, by phone, or email. Please apply below.
If selected, your organization's name may be included in our marketing as a donation recipient. Please note that filling out of this form in no way holds The Local responsible for fulfilling any request made.
