The Local opened in 2014 and is located in downtown Centreville. We serve amazing fresh prepared food, and specialize in MI beers, meads and hard ciders.  We have over 200 beers on our ever growing list.  We also have a custom built cellar with 2000 plus bottles and a mountain of kegs for your future enjoyment.  Follow us on Untappd to keep informed when we add new beers, or for when we pull vintage beers from the cellar!

We have 21 rotating taps (8 of which are cellar tempature at 49 degrees), with PLENTY of MI beer to go around!  Check out our full, up to date beer menu on Untappd.  We also offer many MI wines MI spirits, along with all of your familiar favorites!

We love to host large parties!  We have buffet options that are perfect for your rehearsal dinner, retirement party, or any other type of large party gathering!  

Large Party Options


1)      Reserving the Garage Door Side of the Building During Normal Hours of Operation

- Can accommodate parties of up to 50 people with no reservation fee.


2)      Reserving the Entire Building, for parties larger than 50, or closed day usage.

-Fee varies depending on day of the week, and duration of event.


Please note for both options:

-Must use our food service options, unless pre-determined catering arrangements have been made and you rent the entire building.  All catering options MUST be approved by The Local in writing.   (You may bring an outside cake, however it will be subject to a $15 service fee)

-Must pay reservation fee at least 1 week before event.

-There will be an automatic 6% sales tax, and 18% gratuity added to total food and drink bill.

-The headcount and entrée choices must be finalized within 7 days of the event. This final count will represent the amount paid. Any additions will be accommodated to the best of our ability and will be subject to an additional 25% fee per meal, you will still be responsible for any deletions.


Buffet Options


Table service will be provided for clearing dishes and refilling drinks.  Open bar will be available to your guests. We can keep it under one tab if preferred, or have guests pay separately for their alcohol purchases with their server.


Taco/Nacho Bar:  Comes with ground beef, shredded cheese, tomato, sour cream, homemade salsa, lettuce, house fried tortilla chips and soft tortilla shells.


Add Grilled Chicken option as well for $1.00 per person.

Add our famous homemade queso for $2.25 per person. 

Add unlimited sodas for your guests for $1.50 per person.



Baked Penne Buffet:  Baked chicken penne with a fresh garden salad and toasted Ciabatta bread.

Fried Chicken Dinner:  Our customer favorite fried chicken with mashed potatoes and a fresh garden salad. Includes 3 pieces of chicken per person.

 Smoked Pork Chop Dinner:  Our juicy 10 oz. smoked pork chop topped with our slightly sweet and tangy homemade reduction of Gunga Din Cinnamon Hard Cider and Atwater Vanilla Java porter. Includes mashed potatoes and a fresh garden salad as sides.

Burger Bar:  Our hand pattied 7oz local meat burgers from Central Meat Market in Sturgis MI.  Served with warm brioche buns and fries.   Toppings include:  Lettuce, onion, tomato, mayo, ketchup, mustard, Rickle’s Pickles chips, White American cheese slices.
